Forklift Certification in Los Angeles and Surrounding Areas

August 9, 2013

If you’re lucky enough to live on the west coast, then this is a great place to work in the forklift industry. This is especially true in Southern California, where you can enjoy the benefits of good weather year-round. This means that you’ll be comfortable, whether you’re working indoors or outdoors.

Just remember that regardless of where  you live, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration requires you to have current credentials in order to operate the vehicle. If you’ve been certified before, then you will be familiar with the process and you know that it’s not really a big deal. But if this is your first time around the block, this might sound a little intimidating.

Don’t be intimidated.

The process of getting your forklift certification is incredibly easy. In fact, some of the people that have completed our course stated that they were able to do so in about 60 minutes. How’s that for easy? In order to qualify as “passed,” you need to score at least 70% on your test. This isn’t anything to sweat over for two reasons:

1) Our test is pretty simple. There are 12 multiple-choice questions. You need to answer at least 9 of them correctly.

2) If you don’t hit the 70% mark the first time, you’re welcome to take the test as many times as you need to until you do.

So there you have – it’s nothing to worry over; it’s just something to get out of the way so that you can go enjoy that nice beach weather.
